    Cambridgeshire is bursting with opportunities for learning and training for people with disabilities or mental health problems.
     
    STEnG (Social Training Enterprise Group) is a partnership of nine organisations working in Cambridgeshire with people who are disadvantaged within society and particularly within the labour market because of learning and physical disabilities, sensory impairment or mental health problems.

On 16 September, Alan Sugar helped launch the Grand Challenge. This exciting new ‘Apprentice Style Fundraising Contest’, is being run by the Papworth Trust and participating teams are challenged to start with a maximum of £1,000 and develop their own fundraising initiatives to raise funds for the Trust. Aspirations is an educational programme for young people and adults with autism spectrum conditions such as Aspergers Syndrome. OWL is pleased to now offer students the opportunity to weave with recycled materials, as part of their Certificate for Working Life with the NPTC. The shoulder bags, table mats and other items are all made from waste materials donated by a furniture manufacturer in Luton.
