About STEnG's learners |
The learners STEnG organisations support come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are each proud to offer a diverse choice of projects to suit their individual wants, needs and aspirations. Some organisations run projects for people with specific disabilities or health conditions. One of Red2Green’s projects, for example, provides social skills classes for adults with Asperger’s Syndrome, while Cambridge Mencap is one of the organisations supporting people with learning disabilities. More usually, STEnG organisations offer projects and courses to whoever feels they could enjoy and benefit from them, and learners of differing abilities work alongside each other.
