STEnG’s contracts and outcomes

STEnG partners often bid together to jointly deliver contracts within the county and adjourning areas. Listed below is a summary of our track record.

    Projects delivered within the partnership have included: 

  • EEDA Direct Bidding “Pathways to Progress” with the Further Education colleges – 1998 (Work-based learning).
  • EEDA Direct Bidding “LEAP”, “Towards Independence” and “Towards Independence 2” in partnership with the Papworth Trust (1998-2002) (Work-based training programmes).
  • JobcentrePlus project “Work4Me” January 2003 – December 2004 (Support into employment).
  • EEDA Direct Bidding ESF project facilitated by Fenland Enterprise – “Women Want Work Now” – January 2004 to December 2005 (Work-based training in Non Traditional occupations).
  • Cambridgeshire County Council Contract with The Papworth Trust in partnership with STEnG members October 2006 – August 2010 (Support into employment).
  • Cambridgeshire County Council contract with STEnG members Intermediate Labour Market (ILM) project January 2007- March 2007, (Work-based training programmes).
  • Greater Cambridgeshire Partnership “Investing In Communities” – Engaging Employers & Supporting Intermediate Labour Markets Contract with The Papworth Trust and STEnG members Sept 2006-March 2007 (Work-based training programmes).
  • Greater Cambridgeshire Partnership “Investing In Communities” – Engaging Employers & Supporting Intermediate Labour Markets Contract with The Papworth Trust and STEnG members Sept 2007-March 2008 (Work-based training programmes).
  • Contract with Huntingdon Regional College and Cambridge Regional College September 2007 – June 2008 (Work Engagement programme).
  • Achieved Pre Qualifying Questionnaire for Learning and Skills Council December 2007.
  • Achieved Stage 2 approval for Department of Work and Pensions December 2007.
